Burj el-Barajneh is a Palestinian refugee camp located on the outskirts of Beirut. Home to approximately 40 000 refugees, Burj el-Barajneh has a rich history of struggle and resistance. This photo is of a building near the center of the camp destroyed during the Lebanese civil war. Note the picture of Yasser Arafat (Abu Amar) placed on the building.
