Solidarity among migrants

Baruti is a member of the KwaZulu-Natal Refugee Council, a group of refugees working together to bridge the gaps within the refugee community by increasing awareness around xenophobia and racism, as well as highlighting the problems faced by refugees to the media, researchers and the general public in South Africa.
