Extra! Extra! The Gazette Supports Israeli Aggression in Lebanon and Palestine

On the morning of Tuesday, August 15,
approximately 30 activists from Montreal entered the lobby of the Gazettes downtown office to begin a surprise action to denounce the Gazette for being propaganda for the Israeli war machine. Protesters rushed into the Gazette's lobby, located at 1010 Ste-Catherine St. west in Montreal and unveiled a banner denouncing the paper's reporting of the Israeli war of aggression in Lebanon and Palestine. Balanced reporting can hardly be expected of a media outlet that sponsors a fundraising dinner, named "Building a Stronger Israel", where War Criminal Colin Powell will be speaking at the request of the Jewish National Fund.
