5 Juin, 2007 - MONTREAL: C’est un choix qu’une mère ne devrait jamais avoir à faire –être forcée d’abandonner sa fille qui est née au Canada alors qu’elle-même est déportée dans son pays d’origine, ou prendre sa fille avec elle en sachant que la petite subira probablement une brutale mutilation génitale et que sa mère ne pourra rien faire pour la protéger. C’est exactement la décision que devra prendre Oumou Touré, une Guinéenne de 23 ans, si les responsables de l’immigration canadienne ne reconsidèrent pas leur décision de l’expulser du Canada.
