Mar Elias is the smallest of the Palestinian refugee camps scattered throughout Lebanon & is located in central Beirut. Mar Elias today is home to approximately 2000 Palestinian refugees & is home to various important NGO’s including the Palestinian Human Rights Protection Center. In this photo is an emblem symbolizing Palestinian resistance on one of the main entrances into the camp.
