Resistance and Hezbollah

Tadamon! Montreal hosted a film screening on March 20th, "Resistance & Hezbollah". The event featured a documentary film from Swiss television which documents Soha Béchara’s return to Lebanon after Israel’s attack on the country this past summer. Béchara herself is a symbol of the movement of national resistance against Israel’s occupation of southern Lebanon from 1982 to 2000. A former Lebanese political prisoner, she spent 10 years in the notorious Israeli-run Khiam prison in southern Lebanon. Photos taken by Stefan Christoff of Tadamon! Montreal.
