International War Criminals

From March 10-11, 2006, Gerard Latortue, Haiti's illegal interim Prime Minister, made a diplomatic visit to Canada. In the final days of his term before Rene Preval's government take office, Latortue met with several Canadian politicians. On March 10th he had a secret meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper in Ottawa, and the next day, he met with the Premier of Quebec, Jean Charest, in Montreal. Meanwhile, hundreds turned out in both cities to protest in anger. Photos and text by Aaron Lakoff.
